Photo of the Day ‘5 Generations”

There are two sides to my photography. I love editing photos to look whimsical and colorful …… but also love the rawness and simplicity of others! I dream of my photographs garnishing the pages of National Geographic… ONE DAY! I wish I had more time to photograph the real world we live in.

Kate, Wind, and the Japanese Tourist

Headed south on the 15 Freeway. I found myself with this sweet soul from Buffalo, NY. I have photographed Kate before. We Strabucked it, and boom (in my mind thats what it sounded like as we began our voyage) we were off! An hour passed, but it only seemed like minuets. I spied with my eagle eye a tall slender light tower. I had been itching to photograph this beautiful historical safe keep for some time. We had our work cut out for us. In between extreme wind and tourist, it would be difficult for the stars to align. I love a good challenge. I believe when weather, location or equipment presents a dilemma, you are forced to think outside of the box. These situations force you to grow. In between a wardrobe malfunction for Kate (lets just say there is a very happy elderly gentleman from Japan, who saw more than a beautiful light tower) and the wind trying to Mary Poppins me with my umbrella , I was getting a little nervous! It’s rare that I get nervous! To cut the story short, the star decided to align 🙂 They just took some time. In love with the softness of some of the photos captured of Kate. Now do something good for your ears 🙂 Check out Kate’s Youtube channel and discover art. Cheers Friends, until next time.

Welcome to the World Karter

Welcome to the World Karter

To photograph a new soul is a grand experience. I have cradled countless babes in my arms. Every time I photograph a newborn it’s life’s way of rewarding me with a golden memory token. Baby Karter is such a handsome baby! He is so mellow! Mommy and baby already have such a harmonious flow together! Thank you Pam and Karter for letting capture a priceless moment! I will forever cherish our time spent together!!

PS: Thank your pops for that yummy carrot juice! HHAHA!

With love,

The harmony of youthful delivery was exported via pod cast for “Bring Me Hope’s”, Night Walk. Youthful voices of thanks made our hearts sing 🙂 We were a group of 11, devoted to walking for an hour in support of Chinese orphans! There were multiple groups around the globe who did the same, in addition to the parent-less children of China. Collectively we raise eleven thousand dollars!!!! The money raised would go to supporting 90 orphans in going to summer camp!!! Cheers to all you sponsors and walkers. Visit, to stand for love in our world

Welcome to my Humble Abode

Welcome to my humble abode! A new dwelling for my loitering thoughts and personal passions. My name is Syd, and I’m a believer “Love is the flower you’ve got to let grow” (John Lennon). Yes fellow humans, I am welcoming you into this saltbox of mine. I want you to take notice of the front door mat that reads in bold letters “Enter and leave with love.” I was pondering as to what my debut blog post should be about. I decided I would write about a permanent resident, who continually tries to control the malice of the other ring leaders who dwell within. Love – [luhv] the international language, and answer to all problems. Though this blog, I will keep record of personal growth and personal passions. I want to be used as a tool that brings positivity into this world. I have decided to grab life by the horns and carpe the heck out of this deim. In order to do that …. a key element is needed… Love!!! Personal relationships, business, mind, body and soul all need love in order to flourish. Through my own record of personal growth … I hope to inspire others to realize growth is one loving motion away. So here’s to a new journey that’s about to set sail!!! CHALLENGE #1 – SERVE WITH LOVE. Bon voyage, until next time!
